Built in an OE-style form for proper fitment in big-bore cylinders, the piston is forged from 2618 aluminum for superior strength under high heat and load. A Molybdenum Disulphite (moly) skirt coating reduces friction for a quicker break-in and longer piston life, while heat-treatment with a T-5 hardening and tempering cycle supports long-term durability.
